This set has an interesting diamond pattern with wood tops. The base looks like wood but is ceramic. So late 60's.
They stand approx. 32 1/2" to top of the finial. The base measures about 6" across. Not chipped or cracked. The lamps have no shades.
The lamps are an off white pottery type with diamonds. The brownish diamonds are textured and raised.
Now, if you look at the photo of them packed, this is how I found them. I can not honestly say they are new and have not been used. The felt on the bottom looks brand new and the wood looks good, not faded or scratched. See how the cords are still curly? They were not wrapped or banded or anything like that. By the way, the cords are still good! There is tarnish on the gold parts, mainly the shade holders. Could this be due to 30 years storage??? They appear to be in the original carton which in shipping I will double box as I think that was good enough to be on a pallet but not shipped thru the mail.
there are some newspapers in the box with the lamps that are dated Dec. 18, 1976
Just a very cool unique set of lamps...with character.....
