Payment

Paypal is the preferred method of payment. Payments are expected within three days of auction ending. Please contact me within this time frame if you are unable to comply.

Shipping

Shipping is an important part of your Ebay experience. Please make sure you read and understand the terms. For furniture pieces, the default shipping method and price is for Greyhound service, unless otherwise stated. They will deliver your package to the station nearest you, then notify you by phone that your item is ready to be picked up at the station. They will store it for free for 72 hours, and then charge a $2/day storage fee. Some more urban stations offer an add-on service of home delivery. Request this directly from your station when they call you. Greyhound limits their liability to $300 per shipment, unless you are within California and then it is $1000. While an effective, reliable shipper, Greyhound has a cumbersome claims process and not enough staff to handle them. Therefore, I have contracted with an insurer to provide full coverage of any Greyhound shipment for the full amount of it's value. Unless otherwise stated, we require insurance on your shipment. It only costs a few dollars and is meant to fully protect you and your investment. An estimate for insurance will be quoted, but will be based on the final value of your purchase. We think this is one of the most important protections we can offer you as a buyer.  We are excellent packers, but in the rare event a shipper damages your item, let us know right away.  We will personally file a claim directly through the insurance carrier for a rapid refund including your shipping expenses.

Terms of Sale

Due to the unique and large nature of our items, returns are simply not practical. PLEASE EXPECT ALL VINTAGE ITEMS TO HAVE A BASELINE OF AVERAGE WEAR. We do not sell pieces that are in damaged or poor cosmetic condition. However nearly all pieces will exhibit some minor signs of use, and these will not typically be photographed and described exhaustively. We always provide photos of the most obvious wear. If you feel unclear about the condition of a piece, please ask-we will provide you with every detail as well as additional photos to help you make an informed choice.
