This item is previously-owned and has recently been placed on consignment in our store. We originally sold this necklace in 1992 and added the diamond clasp at that time. We have polished it and checked the security of the gemstones, and it is now ready for a new owner to enjoy. The piece is in excellent condition, and we guarantee that you will be most pleased.

Note: Nearly all colored gemstones are treated in some way as a a normal part of the process in bringing them to market. Well over 95% of sapphires have been heated to enhance their color, and over 99% of emeralds have been soaked in oil to improve their appearance. Unless otherwise indicated, one can safely assume that all colored gemstones sold by Mednikow, by other sellers on eBay, and by any other seller in the world, have been heated to enhance their appearance (except emeralds, which have been "oiled.") Also, unless otherwise indicated, the treatments are so common that they are not only accepted but expected by the members of the international gem community.

Return Policy: Returns are welcome within one week of receipt. We generally don't charge a restocking fee, but we reserve the right to charge a 10% restocking fee if we feel our return policy is being abused. Items that have been altered at the customer's request cannot be returned. Postage and insurance fees are not refundable.

Domestic Shipping, Insurance, and Handling: The shipping fee for this item is $16.00 via Federal Express 2 Day Air. Overnight shipping via Federal Express is available on request for $34.00.
