About 6 oz. per square yard. Soft hand but with some body. This is a beautiful, first-quality fabric with wonderful feel. Cotton fabric woven in a manner much like satin to give it a glossy satin-like look. Color: Mink or Golden Brown. Beautiful shade of golden brown - almost copper. The crayons are Crayola's "Burnt Sienna" and "copper". The color of the fabric is closest to the copper crayon but without the metallic appearance. If you have the Online Auction Color chart, the color of the fabric seems to be a blend between oac721 and oac734. Width: 54" wide Use: Draperies, valances, curtains, duvet covers, slipcovers, tablecloths and many other home dec projects! Fabric Care: Drycleaning is recommended; however the fabric may be machine washed/tumbled dry. Since it is 100% cotton, it will shrink so pre-washing is recommended if you intend to launder it. Pre-wash in hot water (you may want to use a dye-retention product like Retayne to help prevent fading); tumble dry on warm. Thereafter, wash in cold water, tumble dry on medium. Washing will remove the protective finish so you may want to spray newly laundered items with Scotchgard or a similar product.
