MINT Parker Jotter, Early Model w/Fine Threads, Purple

     This auction is for a "Mint" Vintage Parker Jotter Ballpoint Pen. Rare "Purple" color model with fine barrel and cap threading. c. approx. 1973-1980. This pen is one of the early model jotters that were made with the fine threading on the barrel and fine brass threading inside the cap. In 1973 the Parker company flattened the dome-shaped top button and put the Parker hallmark imprint there(this pen has the flat top button with the traditional Parker hallmark imprint/symbol). The later model jotters are more common and were made with coarse threading. The cap is marked, "PARKER MADE IN U.S.A." and has the hallmark Parker Arrow symbol located there as well. The pen measures 5 1/8" in length, barrel width=0.38"(where meets cap), cap width = 0.38".      This is a NOS(New Old Stock) pen that is in "Mint", unused condition with no flaws. It was part of the vintage Parker Jotter pens that were referred to as the Happy Colors. Great for collection or everyday use. Jotter refill is Black(Medium).
