THANK YOU for considering our minty condition Hamilton (Swiss) “Traffic Special” model, 16 size, open face, 17 jewels, unadjusted, Grade 669, 3/4 nickel plate, stem wind, pendant set movement, mint, mint Boxcar dial and hands! When you stop for a moment and watch how this timepiece operates you can tell immediately that it is a quality manufacture. The balance motion is about as dead true as can be with a whipping beat and strong action. The winding wheels and nickel plates are also absolutely spotless – not a hint of stain or scratch on these after-950B plates. The watch winds and pendant sets as designed and has no mechanical difficulties! I’ve owned and timed this beauty for many years by hand and it is currently holding railroad grade time of within 30 seconds per week! The case is a correct, original signed Hamilton Star Watch Case Co. 10K rolled gold plate screw-back-and-bezel model that looks pretty much like new, inside and out and is 100% original. The crown is wear free, the bow is tight, the crystal is a quality beveled mineral glass model that is wear free, the back and bezel screw on and off like a dream and this “Traffic Special” is HOT!! The dial is a mint, single sunk enamel original signed “Traffic Special” model that shows no wear whatsoever. Same with the blued spade hands – mint, matching and working just fine. These Grade 669s are way undervalued in the illustrious Price Guide, given the quality and reliability they obviously evidence.
