I am Diana, an artist based in Orange County, Laguna Beach area, in California.
My current work is evenly split between the artistic exploration of the Pacific
coast in Southern California and classical still life setups in my studio.
My formal artistic education includes a Fine Arts High School and a Fine Arts Academy
college degree from Europe, with a major in restoration and conservation of the ancient
works of art for museums. Additionally, I have attended studio art classes and workshops
at University of California San Diego and Athenaeum School of the Arts in La Jolla.
My paintings are found in private collections in Japan, Canada, Europe and across
United States. I am creating exclusively in oil.

|
This is a scene from Mission San Juan Capistrano, the seventh California mission founded in 1776.
It is known as the "Jewel" of the Missions.
This little gate with a cross leads to a small courtyard with fountain and mission bells, and it is close to
Serra Chapel. I have used brushes and palette knife to create different textures.
