The basketball beads were made by me using a technique with polymer clay called caning (or to make a cane). Caning is a way of minipulating the clay clay to create a design in the form of a log; so the design actually runs through the bead. Strung on sterling silver head pins and accented with silver beads and Swarovski crystals. I have also added rubber stoppers to the sterling ear wires to prevent loss of the earrings.
