The staple length is 3" with a well defined fine crimp. This fleece is very soft and silky and has a wonderful handle. This is an excellent fleece.
The weight of this fleece is 3 lbs 10 ozs. This is a part of sale with a total of 14 oz. on this auction.
This fleece is very clean. Our sheep are covered year round and very heavily skirted.

MMFWOOL is coated year round. Wool has characteristics that no other fiber
provides. First, the wool fiber has built-in crimp, giving it the bounce and
loft that allows it to always return to its original shape. Wool has a
recovery rate from compression of 95%, Which is better than any other
fiber( polyester averages 73% depending on the type). Wool batting provides
superb insulation. The interlocking fibers breathe, allowing excess heat to
disperse away from the body. This allows our skin to remain warm, yet dry.
It moderates temperature, so you never get too hot or too cold when sleeping
under it. Wool gives warmth with out weight. It is naturally hydroscopic
and can absorb up to 33% of its own weight in moisture without feeling damp,
as opposed to 4% for synthetics and 8% for cottons.
