Outfit is excellent to near mint, complete with turquoise pilgrims. Domestic bidders: Every seller on eBay is 100% liable for every item until it reaches the buyer. We are no longer able to charge the buyer for insurance, even though we must get it to protect ourselves in case of loss or damage. So in order to purchase the necessary insurance, I must now raise my shipping costs. I offer first class envelope shipping on most all items EXCEPT dolls. I WILL NEVER, EVER, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE, SHIP A BARBIE DOLL IN AN ENVELOPE!!! In some cases, I have to estimate what I think the auction or listing will close for, and I am basing my shipping charge on that (the final price plus the insurance cost for that item). If this bothers you, please just do not buy from me. I do NOT profit on shipping and I never will. If you buy from me and then leave me less than 5 stars on any rating, that means I have failed as a seller according to eBay. I am caught between a Scylla and Charybdis, trying to provide the best service while at the same time protecting myself from loss. So if you think my shipping charge is too high, and therefore would leave me less than 5 stars for shipping and handling charges, please, I am begging you, please just don't buy from me. International bidders: I cannot ship first class if you use PayPal. Here is why: You buy from me, remit payment with PayPal, and I ship to you first class. You wait and wait, but the item never arrives. You write to me to let me know and I get nervous. After it still doesn't arrive for weeks, you, like any reasonable buyer, want your money back because you paid but did not get anything. So you let eBay/PayPal know that your item never arrived. PayPal then writes to me and asks me to provide the tracking number, to prove that I shipped the item. But I cannot provide a tracking number because I shipped first class international. At that point, PayPal says to me "well, that's really too bad" and they automatically REFUND YOUR MONEY FROM MY ACCOUNT. There is nothing I can do about this. Since I am not wealthy enough to be able to afford to take this chance, I must get tracking with every shipment, which means Priority International only. I'm very sorry.
