Modernist Gerald STINN Sterling Silver Cuff Bracelet




For your consideration is this really nice, simple modernist style hand hammered sterling cuff bracelet by Gerald Stinn. It is in excellent gently used condition with no damage, wear or repairs. Stamped inside STINN ~ Sterling. It measures: inside diameter 2 3/8" across (left to right) by 1 3/4" wide (front to back) it has a 1 1/4" wide gap at the back and stands 1/8" wide. Very modern design with a wavy curved front. Light weight and very easy to wear on a daily basis. The hammered affects makes it sparkle when it catches the light.

This original bracelet was hand made at Stinns Jewelry Studio in Santa Maria California. Gerald Stinn was raised and educated in the Midwest. He received his B.F.A. in Fine Arts from Drake University where he specialized in jewelry, crafts and design. In 1965 he moved to California's beautiful Central Coast where he continued to teach art.

In 1970 he began devoting his energies to the full time creation and production of custom jewelry. Gerry's unique artistic designs have been extensively exhibited in many fine locations including the Delaware Museum of Art, The Santa Barbara Museum of Art and in a permanent exhibit at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C.
