 THIS BEAUTIFUL FAN COMES FROM THAILAND AND WAS USED BY BUDDHIST MONKS WHEN PRAYING.  THE MONKS HOLD THESE FAN SHAPED PIECES IN FRONT OF THEIR FACES TO FURTHER INSURE THEIR SOLITUDE AND CONCENTRATION.  THIS PIECE IS NOT MORE THAN FIVE YEARS OLD.  IT MEASURES 51.5" TALL BY 16" WIDE.  IT IS PLAIN ON THE REVERSE SIDE AND IS IN PERFECT CONDITION.  IT INCLUDES A STAND WHICH THE FAN IS REMOVED FROM WHEN IN USE.
