You are bidding on a Montblanc BOHÈME BLEU Cartridge Retractable Fountain Pen (Ident. No. 05778).

The pen comes in its original snap lid case. Also included are the original instructions booklet (including the International Guarantee Certificate page) and the original black cardboard box (see images below).

This pen was bought brand new and given to me as a Christmas gift in 2004. On that Christmas day, I inserted a Montblanc ink cartridge and tested the pen. It worked perfectly. I then removed the ink cartridge and put it back in its original case and box. It has remained in its box at the back of my drawer ever since. Though the pen is not technically brand new, it is pretty darn close.

I have examined the pen closely, and frankly, I have trouble finding any problems with it worth mentioning. If you are particularly picky, and used a magnifying glass, you might see a some minute hairline scratches on the black resin body which were probably generated during the manufacturing process, or by merely inserting the pen into the case. If you were to present this pen as brand new, you would be hard pressed to find someone who would argue the case with you. The nib retraction mechanism and cap function just as they are supposed to. I have washed the dried ink out of the pen with water and the nib appears to be functioning perfectly. The snap-lid case looks brand new, but the cardboard box is a little scuffed and creased at the corners. I have included some large images below, so please look them over closely.

As this was a gift, I do not have the original receipt. I can assure you though that the people from whom I received it (my parents in France) would have paid full retail for it. I am quite certain it is a genuine Montblanc pen. I have included an image of the International Guarantee Certificate page from the back of the booklet.

The serial number of the clip ring is: CZ1024411 GERMANY.
On the inside of the clip, I can make out what looks like the words: metal Pix
