This print is a reproduction
from an original oil painting painted in the
spring of 2007 en plein
air. It is a painting of a scene on the Hudson River in upstate New York, at Garrison's Landing,
Garrison, NY. The subject is a canoe under a
wispy willow tree. In the foreground are bright
yellow buttercup flowers. Light is coming from
the left and striking the canoe, creating a
strong contrast. Soft edges give the willow
tree its wispy feeling while branches characteristically
stretch their spidery arms.
Each
print is accompanied with a Certificate of Authenticity
signed by the artist.
