SHIPPING METHODS & HANDLING TIME:
The time from payment to shipment can vary greatly.

but we can get behind on shipping due to illness & out of town trips.

The S&H amount shown by eBay is the lowest cost method
for the size & weight of the item.
Small items (USPS) ship quickly, usually within 1 to 3 days
of receiving payment, but can take longer under some circumstances.
Insurance for USPS Priority Mail is additional.
USPS does not provide tracking numbers.
FedEx Ground is much slower, but has insurance & a real tracking number.
If your item shows FedEx Ground & you need it more quickly,
Priority Mail shipping can be arranged. It does cost more.
Please write thru eBay messages that you need faster shipping &
we'll do all we can to speed it up.
Larger & heavier
Items can take much more time (up to 7-15 days)
& work to package & get shipped.
Overseas
packages also take more time, (usually 1 extra day) to pack & ship.
WHY A HANDLING FEE?
We charge from $2.00 to $5.00 (+$1.00 Overseas)
on small to medium weight items.
Additional charges apply on heavy, very fragile,
multiple or difficult items to pack.
This handling/packing fee helps pay rent for a special room devoted to packing. Shipping tape, supplies, the gas for trips to the PO & Fed Ex are additional costs.
Shipping charges should not be a "profit center" for sellers.
Our S&H is designed to be "neutral", just covering costs.
We work hard to ensure your item is packed the best it can be.
Our packing is done with materials on hand.

We are in a little Rocky Mountain town (way West of Denver) & it's a decent trip
for us to drop a load of large packages at FedEx in either Grand Junction or Montrose, CO.
The gas cost is $30.00 or more.
I will go to FedEx when we have enough (usually 4-5) packages.
Up to $100.00 free Insurance Included + a real Tracking Number.
