Our 5 Star Shipping Standard

• Though we strive to keep our shipping fees as low as possible, and what we charge is based directly on what we pay, there are costs, beyond postage, to maintaining the high level of service that we provide.

A Representative Example of Our Costs

• Most of our packages are over 1 pound, which means we are required to pay for 2.  To ship this package Priority Mail to Tennessee, near the middle of the country, is $7.00 The USPS rate to insure our average package is $2.05, and it s a pain if you have to make a claim so we self-insure, charge only $1.00 and handle everything for you in the event of a claim. (see below) We also use about $.35 of packaging materials which brings our total cost to $8.40.  We then allocate about $.55 in cost to provide the same day service labor and the cost of driving to the post office distribution center every day.  This adds up to the $8.95 of hard costs that we charge. We think this is a fair price and we want to earn your 5 Star Rating.

Full Service Insurance 

• Insurance: if your package is lost in transit, we will ship you a new phone right away and handle the claim process ourselves. Most sellers and Shipping Carriers require you to file the claim yourself and wait 4-6 weeks to be reimbursed by the Post Office. Meanwhile you don t have the phone or your money.  At JustCellular we handle the paperwork and you get your phone right away.

Our Level of Service 

• Our customers have consistently told us that receiving their phone as soon as possible is extremely important.  In response to this, we have a dedicated full-time shipping team that ships all day every day.
• Over 95% of our packages leave our facility the same day that we receive payment.
• In addition, we hand deliver our USPS packages daily, directly to a major regional sorting facility that operates 24 hours a day.  This often saves a full day of transit time.  We also have daily pickups and end-of-day drop-off's at FedEx's local facility.  

We Pass on Our Savings 

• What we charge for FedEx shipping is, in most cases, lower than FedEx's posted rates. This is because we get a volume discount and we pass the savings to you.  (USPS does not offer a volume discount on priority mail.)

Please Note: Our Office Hours are Monday through Friday 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. We do not generally answer email or the phone on Saturday and Sunday. We are generally able to reply to all the weekends email by the end of day Monday. We have a full time Customer Support team and and we answer 100's of emails every day-though we usually can't reply immediately, we do answer all emails.
