MADE ONLY AVAILABLE DIRECTLY FROM BREYGENT MARKETING by MAIL ORDER   THE VINTAGE POSTER COLLECTION: CLASSIC SCI-FI & HORROR POSTERS COLLECTOR CARDS: PRINTING PLATE a UNIQUE ONE-OF-A-KIND PIECE of SCI-FI POSTERS MEMORABILIA     This auction is for a nicely displayed limited edition PRINTING PLATE from the "THE VINTAGE POSTER COLLECTION: CLASSIC SCI-FI & HORROR POSTERS COLLECTOR CARDS" trading card release (2007).   NO TWO WERE ALIKE!    This plate is from card #17 (BLACK)   "THE MONSTER FROM THE OCEAN FLOOR"   Metal Printing Plates are used to make trading cards. In the production of trading cards, 4 metal printing plates are used for each card front (for the different colors of Black, Yellow, Cyan and Magenta) & 4 for each card back.   The plates were then cut into individual cards once production was completed & used to make this very nice collector's piece.    The printing plate is set in a specially made 2-card plastic screwdown card holder. The first card in the holder is the actual metal printing plate card from the series. The second card is the finished product - the standard card from the release.   The metal printing plate itself measures the same as a regular oversized card from the series (3.5" X 5"), but in the 2-Card holder the entire piece measures 8.25" X 6.25". The back of the printing plate is blank (silver metal). There is an official sticker on the back of the printing plate card stating it is an authentic printing plate from Breygent Marketing & it also states the card number the plate was used for & which of the four colors it is from.   Your CLASSIC HORROR & SCI-FI POSTERS COLLECTION is simply NOT COMPLETE without one of these pieces!!

Because only 1 plate existed for each of the 4 colors used to make a trading card, there are only FOUR versions of each card (#1-#49) from the original series. Each individual printing plate is truly a one-of-a-kind collectible
