My name is Rose Farnsworth-Davis and I am offering for auction today a cupful of humor! Her name is Eunice. Just 3 inches tall from tip to toe (so to speak!), Eunice is from my collection of characters called MRS.T.BAGG. I originally created MRS.T.BAGG as an amusing gift for customers who booked private tea parties at an antique store where they served afternoon teas. MRS.T.BAGG became very popular and I soon took them to market. From there they were seen in many fashionable locations including the Biltmore Estate in North Carolina, tea shops in England and Germany, numerous antique stores, gift shops, and Tea Houses throughout the U.S.A.

ABOUT EUNICE-
Eunice is dressed in "Florence" from the Chintz Collection. Her head is a resin reproduction from my original sculpture. I then personally blushed her cheeks and lips and created her body, such as it is. Her hair is from natural sheep's wool twisted in a knot at the top of her head. Her bodice is a cotton fabric printed with the popular Royal Winton "Florence" chintz pattern and is filled with poly pellets. Her collar is of vintage lace. The charming brooch she wears at her neck is actually an antique diminutive button. (It's important to note here that the button/brooch on your purchase may vary slightly from the one shown in the photograph, adding to the uniqueness of your MRS.T.BAGG! I invite you to review my generous return policy offered below). Her hat is made of starched crocheted lace and finished with string beads, flowers and bows. Eunice is then completed with a personal “tea tag” with her name on it. Please note: Eunice is now retired.

The Classic Collection- 12 lovely ladies dressed in jewel tone velvets of burgundy, emerald or navy. Each character has a different hat of felt, lace or faux fur and finished with feathers, buttons and/or bows. (these 12 ladies have been retired)
The African American Collection- 6 delightful ladies dressed in jewel tone velvets of burgundy, emerald or navy. Each wears a different hat of felt or faux fur embelished with feathers, buttons, flowers and/or bows.
The Chintz Collection- especially designed with the teacup collector in mind. 6 popular Royal Winton chintz fabrics dress these teacup ladies. Flowery broad rimmed hats of pressed lace compliment the floral patterns.
Red Hat Collection- fashioned after the popular poem “Warning” by Jenny Joseph, MRS.T.BAGG is dressed in purple velvet and wears a lovely red hat finished with purple feathers, bows and such.
Every MRS.T.BAGG wears a "tea tag" with her name printed on one side and MRS.T.BAGG printed on the other side.

ABOUT THE ARTIST-
Self taught in a variety of mediums I have at last found my passion in sculpting with polymer clays. As a mom at home, I first discovered the clay while entertaining my children with art projects over a Christmas holiday. The children soon when back to school and I never quit playing. That was over 15 years ago. I have attended sculpting seminars since then by Bill Nelson and Jack Johnston and their encouragement has been inspiring. I have been recognized by the Professional Doll Makers Art Guild as a Master Artist, and have proudly attended the New York Toy Fair as a featured artist in the guild. Explanation of handling charges-
Handling- $3 (included in shipping charges) provides careful wrapping of each MRS.T.BAGG so as not to crush the feathers on the hats, in fresh tissue paper with a custom gold foil label to secure the wrap. New boxing material, never used. Self designed mailing labels, and an enclosed personal thank you note with display tips included. I quickly ship on a daily basis as soon as payment is received which includes a 30 mile round-trip drive to the post office. (I live out in the the beautiful countryside, I love it but it's a bit inconvenient at times) And I also include a full color brochure of my entire line of MRS.T.BAGG. I feel attention to detail is important and I want you to enjoy the experience of receiving a gift, even if it's from yourself!
