This amazing "thousand flowers" vase  with vibrant abstract multi-color design comes from MURANO, a small group of islands lying in the lagoon of Venice, Italy.

Murano is truly the cradle of the oldest glass making tradition in Europe with its origins traced back to 982 on the Venetian Islands and has remained as the capital of glass production in the world.
