This statue is one of the MOST BEAUTIFUL , SERENE , RARE MUSEUM QUALITY
PIECES OF ART WORK - A HUGE STATUE - extremely heavy !! All the imperfections, 
cracks and flaws have added to the CHARM AND INTEGRITY of this
beautiful goddess .... I was told by the dealer that this statue is at least
400 years old , if not older .. came from a temple in china ... this statue
was shipped to united states during the time when it was still legal to move
OLD ANTIQUES such as this one through customs ... this is NOT possible now .
The antique dealer moved back to china due to health reasons , i purchased
this statue among many other stunning old museum pieces of art and BRONZE
sets of very old buddhas ... i was excited because i was in the midst of
possibly designing a hotel ... unfortunately , that did not realize ... this
statue is WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET - A REAL GEM !! A PIECE OF HISTORY !!
I do not think you will find another quan yin buddha with this face ,
serenity and calmness . Model standing is 6 ft tall .. just to show you the scale and grandeur of this 
beautiful quan yin statue ... she is HUGE AND GRAND !!

she is a true beauty , and i hate to let her go ... but i think she deserves to be admired and placed in a home 
with the right setting ... Yes , she is EXTREMELY HEAVY , took about 4 - 5 people to carry her ... Yes , i have
enquired about touching her up a bit , but the EXPERT who only deals with museum fine arts and sculptures 
( from the MOMA ) REFUSED TO TOUCH A STITCH ON THE QUAN YIN GODDESS - SHE IS PERFECT AS 
THE WAY SHE IS , ALONG WITH ALL THE CRACKS AND THE FLAWS .... BRINGING  DEPTH , INTEGRITY ,
BEAUTY .... AND PERFECTION ! Without the visible flaws , the goddess will NOT be the same ... and will loose 
the charm and texture that make this statue SO CHARISMATIC, ALLURING AND BEAUTIFUL ! The more you 
look at her , the more you feel good inside ... i just don't know why , but that is the mystery of this beauty !
