This is a nice vintage jewelry/ music box from the made in Japan era.  It is marked Japan on the bottom it has a gold toned metal base and trim, the top has red flowers, it has a nice solid hinge with red velvet interior the music box winder is inside the lid, it measures about 3 ¼ X 2 ½ and stands 2 ½ inches tall, it is in excellent condition and all the colors remain vivid
