MUST de CARTIER TANK VERMEIL GOLD & SILVER UNUSUAL DIAL

The Case

Authentic Vermeil Tank style case by Cartier, gold plated with 20 microns over 925 silver.  It is in excellent overall condition, without details.  This model is quite rare, the last one from this Cartier line.  As shown in pictures #5 & #6 it has two screws on each side, besides the 4 usual ones on the back.  It meausres 20.5 mm across without the crown, and 27.5 mm from lug to lug.  Signed on the back case Cartier Paris Vermeil Tank Quartz, with the corresponding 925 Silver hallmarks, Argent, Plaque Or 20M, Swiss Made.  Case reference number 28344, 5057001.

Original Cartier cabochon crown.     

Beautiful new brown leather strap (aftermarket).  Lug size 14 mm.     

   

The Dial

Appealing & quite unusual Cartier dial.  Black Roman numbers vertically set on the left and right side of the face, framed by two sunken golden lines each.  It has blued steel hands and no seconds counter.  Signed Must de Cartier, Swiss.

The crystal is in excellent condition, without details.

  

The Movement

Cartier quartz caliber 057 with 4 jewels, unadjusted.  It is signed Cartier, Swiss. Working well.
