MY BEST HUGE HEAVY SHEFFIELD SILVER PLATE SERVICE TRAY
EXCEPTIONAL SHELL DESIGN w DOUBLE ROPE BORDER NO RSRVES
This is a very impressive large heavy, c1930, Silver Plated serving tray measuring approx. 27" long (including handles) x 17" across or the actual serving portion measures approx. 17" x 13", certainly large enough for just about any tea and coffee service. It is marked Sheffield Reproduction with Sphinx symbol and has great weight (must be 10 pounds or more), we have sold many, many pieces with this marking and all have been of excellent quality. This tray would be perfect on a sideboard or used as a coffee table when sitting on a large ottoman. It is in excellent condition with minor age use, no damage and certainly no base metal blooming through. This is one of the best trays I have sold in months, I am certain the new owner will be most impressed when they see it in real life. We make great effort to accurately describe each item listed. Returns are accepted, if either condition, country of origin or dating is significantly incorrect. Hence, have an expected amount of wear from normal use. As such, returning an item because we failed to mention the tiniest bit of wear, or barely discernible flaw is not acceptable. Nor do we accept returns based on buyer's remorse, change of taste, or because a buyer did not realize how "small" four inches might be once in hand.
