Checkout and the Mac
Checkout runs exclusively on Macs because they are fast, reliable, easy to set up and maintain. Plus they look great on your counter. To get started, all you need is Checkout and a Mac running Tiger or Leopard. You can also hook up a range of peripherals. Barcode scanners, receipt printers, cash drawers and credit card readers are supported out of the box.

– Stock Room
Checkout keeps track of stock with great care, and now it also helps you order fresh goods when you are about to run out. StockroomUse the all new Stock Room to create and review purchase orders. When your goods arrive, simply hit 'Receive' to verify you got what you ordered and add them. Voilà.
– Reports
Some information is too good not to share. Checkout now ships with a wide range of new reports that provide you with interactive representations of your stores performance. – History & Notes
Each order and invoice now has access to a handy History and Notes interface. Conveniently accessible with one click, you get a summary of every change made, when and by whom. You can use the Notes feature to append messages and reminders to the document. History NotesNew notes are appened to the list so you'll always retain a full history of everyone's notes as well. Later, your coworkers can refer to these notes easily and discreetly.

Making sales is easier with a POS system that is simple, easy to use and intuitive. Checkout works the way you expect a Mac application to. – Invoice Templates

Checkout makes it easy to back up your entire store database, you can even make a full backup while other computers are accessing your store. More importantly though, restoring your store from a backup is just as easy and quick. If tragedy strikes, your data will always be protected.
– Bookkeeping
Every business has to maintain financial records, but that doesn't mean everyone has to be an expert in accounting. At least... not anymore. Checkout tracks every in-store transaction automatically. In the Ledger pane of the Management interface, both a simplified and a fully detailed version of the transaction journal are available.

Checkout's integration with AccountEdge and Quickbooks provides a complete end-to-end accounting solution for your store. Checkout records every transaction Aeintegration, ready to be imported in MYOB AccountEdge or Intuit Quickbooks.
– Payments
Checkout now offers the Credit Card Service Plan. Just log in once, then take as many credit card payments as you wish via the external card reader. Easy for your customers and now also very for you. Most orders are processed and shipped within 2 business days depending on package volume. Orders are shipped out in the order received unless expedited shipping has been paid, such as 2 day or Overnight shipping. Since our business hours are 9AM - 6PM CST Monday through Friday, we will not process weekend orders until Monday. Orders also may be delayed due to holiday. If couriers can not pickup or deliver, we cannot process your order.

GENERAL INFORMATION
PAYPAL SPECIFICS:
We will only ship to Paypal Verified address when using your paypal account.
CREDIT CARD SPECIFICS:
We need your name as it appears on the card, expiration date, the address the card bills you at, the address you want it shipped to, and your phone number. We will verify your billing address. Your order could be delayed if the address does not match. You will be contacted in an event where we require the phone number for the Credit Cards customer service department (usually found on the back of the card).
SHIPPING TO A DIFFERENT ADDRESS THAN THE BILLING ADDRESS
If we are shipping to an address that is different from the billing address that address must be added to the credit card account as an alternative shipping address. Please call the customer service phone number on the back of your credit card to add the alternative shipping address.
INTERNATIONAL CREDIT CARDS
For international credit card orders, we must be able to verify the billing and shipping address. We have fewer problems with American Express. If you use Visa / MasterCard, we will need the bank phone number and require that your Credit Card Customer Service Representive speaks English. We will also need a copy of the front and back of the credit card and a copy your drivers license or passport faxed or emailed to us. Plus, there is a $25 fee associated with all address verifications that require International phone or faxing, which is 99% of all International orders.
All eBay auctions are final. In-store exchange may be used within 14 days of purchase for defective items, unless auction otherwise stated with extended or as-is warranty. There are no refunds. Factory warranties must be handled with the associated manufacturer after 14 days from purchase. All returns must have an associated RMA number to be valid. The buyer is responsible for return shipping of defective merchandise back to Megawatts. Because Megawatts is a product reseller and not a manufacturer, we are not responsible for factory defects. In cases of defective merchandise, Megawatts agrees to split the shipping costs with you, our customer. The customer agrees to pay to send the item back to Megawatts, and Megawatts will consequently replace the component and ship the item at no charge back to the shipping address on the original order. Software is only returnable if defective, and can only be exchanged for exact same item.
