Thank you for viewing our auction. We are True First Edition Books, a book store established in central Pennsylvania in 2006. Our specialty is First Editions and Rare & Out of Print books. We recently decided to make an eBay name and give online sales a try. We take each order personally and believe the more we get to know you, the customer, and the more you get to know us, the smoother the transaction will be. We don't just go the extra mile for each customer, we go above and beyond that. Our goal is to provide you with the best quality of books for the cheapest price possible. With our connections we are able to out price any other book store/dealer. We get many “inside tips“ on book sales, estate sales and auctions all across the United States. Since we acquire our books for very little cost, we can afford to give them to you much cheaper than anyone else. Q: Why did you pick these categories?
A: Simple....
   
    First Edition: First Editions are the most valuable books printed. That's the form the book was in when it first came out for sale and of course, the hardest edition to obtain.
   
    Pre-1980: With this category, you are now getting a book that is at least 25 years old. Some books date back all the way to the 1700's. We have a great deal of books printed from the late 1800's early 1900's in this auction. Everyone loves old books. Many popular authors who are either deceased or no longer write fall within this endless category, now is your chance to get them. 
   
    Post-1980: This category gives you the opportunity to get some of today's hottest books. We have many books by Dan Brown, Mary Higgins Clark, Dick Francis, Laurence Sanders, Tom Clancy, James Patterson, etc in this auction. Now you can stay current with your reading. Plus, some very high end books came out in the 1980's and they fall within this category.

Q: I am confused, what's a book pack?
A: Do you remember being a kid and having a love for sports cards? Most of us do. The thrill of having an unopened pack of cards at your finger tips, hopping you pull that Mickey Mantle rookie. Each pack you open would bring an overwhelming thrill and excitement to you, then finally when you got that Mickey Mantle rookie, knowing the fact you paid very little for it, yet it contained a much larger value, what a feeling! I remember those days, do you? Now that we are older, perhaps some of us no longer collect sports cards. Maybe you moved onto collecting books. But no longer do you have the fun and excitement of opening up that “pack“ hoping to reveal a hidden treasure.

Here at True First Edition Books we are willing to change that. With this auction you are bidding on “book packs“ they are very similar to sports cards packs. 1 book pack has 3 total books in it (1 First Edition, 1 Pre-1980 and 1 Post-1980). Each book has been placed in a clasp envelope and labeled either First Edition, Pre-1980 or Post 1980. This way you know exactly what category you are opening. Now that Mickey Mantle rookie becomes a John Steinbeck book, or another popular, high end author. Please do no ask us for certain books when you place your bid, everything is done at 100% random, we do not know what are in the envelopes until you tell us. We only know what category they are. We have listed some of the rarer books and popular authors that we have available in these book packs below in the auction.

Conclusion: A book pack consist of 3 books, ONE First Edition, ONE Pre-1980 book and ONE Post-1980 book. Each book comes in a sealed clasp envelope. Each bidder is guaranteed 3 books and the cost is only $5.99.
