This is a trinket box I found among items hoarded by my elderly aunt from her long-closed hobby store. It measures 4 inches long, just over 3 inches wide, and about 1 1/2 inches tall. It has some designs around the sides and says MADE IN OCCUPIED JAPAN underneath. There also looks to be a tiny swan with the number 7 in it on the underside. There is some discoloration that may not be original on the top, though the Indian on a horse in the middle and the red background appears to be intact and unscratched.
