What
it is: An
easy to do card trick that will let you "fail"
in front of an audience... and still produce a spectacular
finish and "win"!
Suggested
Routine:
A spectator selects a card
from an ordinary deck and replaces it. Deck is then shuffled any which way you want (I
don't even care if you toss the cards up in the air, but it would be messy
picking them up!)
Next, ham it up in your best legendary actor style as
you mightily seek the spectator's card. Produce any card at all (except the one they selected) and let
them howl and point the naughty finger at you.
Take your licks convincingly, (you might even say
something like, " I can't help it... I am
still learning from the Magical Rabbit Online Corespondence School of Magic, and
since I was late on my last payment, they are holding up the secret, can you
loan me a buck?" ) and
then hastily proceed to the next item on the menu, assuring all that
this one will
work!
Produce the Magician's Insurance Policy
and tell an amusing story of how you are covered in the event of poor audiences,
sloppy fingers, and forgetful memories, etc, whereupon you unfold the policy to
reveal a GIANT
copy of the card they selected in the previous "failed" trick! I guarantee the reaction will be
stunning! Oh the fun you
will have have with this one!
Everyone wants to see a magician fail. Well, with the Magician's Insurance Policy
you can! And still come out a winner.
Try the Magician's Insurance Policy. I'm sure you will find the rates agreeable.
