Manufactured by one of the most prominent manufacturers of Cupels in the US

An absolute must for Assayers and to remove Lead from Fire Assayed or PM Collected Materials.

Magnesite has been used for many years and is in my own opinion is one of the best of cupels.

After Melting the fluxes the lead prill is cleaned and  placed back in the furnace to oxidize and absorb the lead into the cupel leaving only precious metals.

Each Cupel will absorb 136.9 grams of lead

Cupels are made from high quanlity dead burnt magnesite (MgO). Hard, smooth surface with consistency in weight and size. Provide exceptional results in gold mines, precious metal refiners, alloy melters, hallmarking, geological and test laboratories worldwide.
