 This item is the TOOL ONLY, no batteries, charger, case or anything else included.  It was bought new and has only been used enough to confirm it works (meaning I put a battery and bit in it and made sure it spun straight).  It is a fantastic drill--sites like consumersearch.com and finewoodworking.com give it the top spot in every review.  I do recommend that when you get batteries and a charger for it, you get the 3 amp rather than the 1.5 amp batteries--the 1.5's don't seem to hold up too well.
