Bipolar Electrosurgical Coagulator

Up for auction now is a Codman Malis Precision-Control Bipolar Coagulator, model CMC-II-PC.  This piece of equipment is used, and does show some signs of wear.  The buttons and switch on the front are still totally intact, as is the LED display.  The biggest problem it has is that its power cord has been severed.  Please refer to the pictures below for further detail.

We connected a power cord to what's left of the severed cord, and we were able to power the unit on.  When switched on, the display came on reading 16.  We don't have the cables and forceps for this unit, so we couldn't fully test it.  We put some cords in and touched them, but we didn't feel any heat.  We don't know if this means the unit isn't working, or if we just don't know how to make it work.

Because of our inexperience with this type of device, and our subsequent inability to properly test, we are selling it as-is.  We do still guarantee it to be as described and pictured, and to function as stated.
