Authenic Native American Art

Welcome to my store, you are bidding on

"Mama Bear Baby Bear" Indian Lore Book .Written and published by artist/Author Linda Silvas.
Linda presents a timely and thought-provoking work that cleverly addresses modern issues and touches on the center of the family circle with her book, Mama Bear Baby Bear: A Native American Lore available now through ebay and other stores. The book is in the Smithsonian Library in New York City, has been featured by AAPR, and many other organizations.
The story focuses on Baby Bear and his grandmother, Mama Bear. Mama Bear takes her grandson to raise because his parents neglect him to partake of the Forbidden Fruit. (substance abuse) Mama Bear teaches Baby Bear to value life, to love him and others, and how to count the stars and use his own intuition. In crafting this heartwarming tale, Silvas offers readers a fresh perspective on a dilemma facing many people today: Because of the pitfalls caused by drug abuse and other destructive cycles, more and more grandparents other relatives and organizations are finding themselves charged with the protection and upbringing of children.

Linda as an International Speaker opening conferences, speaking at schools, prisons and organizations using Mama Bear Baby Bear as the body of her presentation. She opens and closes her presentation with a Native song and Pow Wow Drum.

About me.

Welcome to my site, my name is Linda Silvas; I am Native American
Indian from the Juaneno Band of Mission Indians Acjachemen Nation and
originate from San Diego, California.

I now live in the Pacific Northwest of the United States where my
studio is located at the base of the Olympic Mountains. This is where
I make my Drums, Native artwork and write books.

I am Author of “Mama Bear Baby Bear” Indian Lore and an International
Speaker traveling our Mother Earth speaking about substance abuse and
family circle. My book is written from my own personal experience. I now travel the United States and
abroad sharing my story with millions that are walking the same path.

I have been designing drums for twenty-five years and also conduct
DRUM WORKSHOPS where a designer can make and put their own energy
into a beautiful elk, buffalo drum.

All the materials I use are natural and strong animal hides, I DO NOT
use deer or goat in any of my drums.

All hides are soaked in rain water/well, (no chemicals) with a branch of Grandfather Cedar Tree.

Each finished drum is hand rubbed with bear fat after it is hand
painted, numbered and signed.

All drums unless requested, are finished in the back with real fur
and/or buckskin and include a Drum Beater.

I will conduct DRUM WORKSHOP in your area for 10 designers or more
and that includes a "Circle of Drums" drumming and storytelling.
As well as a gift for the facilitator. For more information:
email me at contact seller in ebay. Please leave your email address or phone number for me to contact you.

I as a Native American/artist I stand proud by my work and guarantee
it. If you are not satisfied please do not hesitate to contact me.

Drums are available in sizes from 10” to 36” double-sided Buffalo
drum. I call her “The Mother Lode”

Included with each drum purchase is a gift.

A lot of my designs are the Mama Bear Baby Bear design which
represents my book and story and most all of my Drums are made with the power of the circle in the back.

Everyone knows how to play the drum… it is the first sound we hear is
that of our Mothers Heart Beat.

Towish no shun….. ( you have touched my soul)
