You are bidding on a *used* Manfrotto 055A tripod plus a Manfrotto 501 fluid head (items pictured). The 055A tripod and the famous 501 fluid head have become over the years a classic of DV guerrilla filmmaking. Manfrotto 501 fluid head: The 501 fluid head is designed to support the latest range of small, professional digital cameras, offering the best performance for a head of this size. Light but positive fluid movement provides exceptionally smooth control through 360 degrees pan and +90 to -60 degrees tilt. It also has Teflon friction adjustment to increase drag and separate pan & tilt locks. Other features include a built-in spirit level and a quick-release sliding plate for balancing the camera with 1/4-inch and 3/8-inch screws. They are not in perfect esthetic conditions as they have light scratches and marks here and there, but they are in *perfect* working conditions. There is no part missing, I have checked all the little bolts and screws and they are all there. Two things to notice: - I have replaced the rubber pads on the sliding detachable camera plate with high quality rubber for better grip. - I have engraved a personal ID# on the tripod and on the head as a theft preventive measure.
