I'm not a professional photographer, but I know this tripod has worked perfectly since I bought it.  The manual it came with seems to give it a model number of 144, but it also says: "USA 3011-3211." The head on the tripod is a 3130.  I'm sure you'll be happy with it, which is why I'm offering a money-back guarantee.

A: I used the tripod for my video camera, which was a Canon XL1s--which is a fairly heavy video camera. It's a very sturdy tripod.
