From the Smithsonian Institution 1988.
Delighted with the find I put the puzzle together to make sure it was complete. I was very dissappionted to find that 2 pieces were missing. It is such a nice looking and interesting puzzle I couldn't bear to relegate it to the scrap heap so I reproduced the 2 missing pieces. Though not perfect they fit in rather well(pun intended). I've included before and after photos that illustrate my handiwork. The finished puzzle measures apx. 21"x 16" and is suitable for framing. The storage tin is in good condition with one minor dent on the top.
A very nice looking puzzle worth rescuing.
