Manzanita Burl
Manzanita is a type of shrub or small tree that is indigenous to the west coast. It occurs from southern British Columbia, Canada down the west coast to much of central and northern Mexico, it can also be found in parts of New Mexico. They are characterized by their smooth orange to red bark and their stiff and twisting branches.This wood is not really used for lumber but more of its ornamental properties.. 
Up for sale is this beautiful and very unique Manzanita Burl.
This piece is a rather larger piece with beautiful nooks and crannies. Its color is magnificant. The size is6" x5." and is
3" high
What a truely wonderfully whimsical piece this is!
