This lot, A MARBLE CONSIGNMENT, consists of an Akro Agate Co. gift set heavy cardstock marble box (ca. 1930s) which has dimensions of 10-5/8" by 5-1/8" by 7/8". It holds a suede drawstring bag (which is in great condition) and 48 marbles, 30 "Snakes" (five differently colored rows) and 18 "Moss Agates" (one row each of "cherry," "lime," and "lemonade"). All of the marbles measure about 5/8" (16 mm) and are in the Mint range of condition. The box itself is in excellent condition with almost no signs of age (there is a small area on the bottom where price label was apparently removed, taking with it some of the gold foil covering. Other than the base, the entire box (inside and out) is covered with a "stained glass" design. The lid is attached to the base along one side, so that it folds up when opened. Winning bidder pays $8.00 Shipping due to the size and weight of this lot.

I ship U.S.P.S. First Class (Priority for selected heavier or larger packages) within the United States; my fee for this is $5.00. Your package will be shipped with Delivery Confirmation, without insurance, since eBay no longers allow sellers to charge for such and I am sure not going to pay from my own pocket. Please do not pay before receiving an invoice from me if you win multiple auctions, as I will always combine shipping fees to save you money and the invoice send by eBay will charge you separate fees for each item.

Please also note that international purchases will still be allowed, though my new shipping fee for this will be $25 regardless of your country of origin. This is for U.S.P.S. International Priority Mail and only for purchases paid through PayPal. If you think this shipping charge is too high, please email me and I will explain why.
