New in box Marker 13.0 Titanium Piston Control Turbo with standard width brake. The toe and heel components are exactly the same as 14.0 models sold with K2, Volkl and Nordica skis.  Retail price of this binding system is $425.00.  We also offer this binding with a wide brake at only $15.00 additional.

A custom mounted system like this Marker 13.0 PC Turbo puts the binding location on the ski exactly where it should be for your boot sole.  Many integrated systems, including the some of the brands listed above only provide a few locations for your boot to be located on the ski.  You may end up in front of, or behind the optimum mounting position.  With the 13.0 PC Turbo mounted properly on your ski, specifically for your boot, you can be certain you are standing exactly where the boot is supposed to be.  Additionally, this binding mounts very solidly to the ski.  There is no play between the toe and heel and the tracks that hold them.  Racers use direct mount bindings because they want absolutely the tightest connection possible, which is not normally achieved with a one size fits all system like many skis come with today.

In addition to a higher range of DIN setting, the 13.0 Ti PC Turbo has one important feature not found on the 12.0 binding that sells for slightly less money.  Comshock Piston is a hydraulic mechanism inside the toe piece that helps filter out side to side shocks that the binding must absorb at high speeds.  Because Comshock reduces the side to side, antishock action of the toe piece, the connection between boot and ski is tighter.  This is a performance advantage for every skier, but especially for one that skis very fast.  The chance of an inadvertent release is lessened, and the steering control of the ski is improved.  COMSHOCK COMES DIRECTLY FROM MARKER'S RACE PROGRAM !!  COMSHOCK WITH PISTON CONTROL WILL NO LONGER BE AVAILABLE AS A CUSTOM MOUNTED BINDING AFTER THESE FEW WE HAVE ARE GONE.

• Comshock Piston toe piece - see description above.  The 13.0 is the same Comshock toe as found in the Marker 14.0 systems, but with a slightly lower DIN range that is even suitable for most women.
  
• Piston Control Turbo makes any good ski much better.  A hydraulic cylinder is built into the center section of the binding platform, with a Piston Control arm extending out in front of the toe piece and fastened to the ski with a single screw.  The hydraulic cylinder retracts easily as the ski flexes, but resists extending as the ski counter flexes.  Vibration traveling through the ski is filtered out by this hydraulic action.  The result is a ski that is smoother when first places on its edge, and therfor more stable, and able to hold its edge better.
• Biometric toe features upward release in backwards falls, and offers the tightest boot to binding connection on the market.  The biometric models from Marker offer a tighter link between boot and ski versus the less expensive Biotech models Marker also sells.
• Marker's exclusive Gliding AFD eliminates the sliding interaction between the toe of the boot and the toe of the binding. The entire toe and toe rest move with the both side to side allowing a very consistent release.
• Soft entry heel has a very low step in force, making the binding easier to get back into on difficult terrain, and very easy to get out of also.
• Titanium component construction is very light, but also very strong, and super durable for many days of use by even the most aggressive skiers.  The link between boot and ski is very tight.
• This binding has a DIN range of 4 to 13, and will work for any skier with a DIN setting of 5 or higher.  That is virtually any adult skier.
