I own this 1200 square foot island view villa at the Marriott Waiohai Beach Club, located on Kauai's Poipu Beach, and would like to rent it to you!  This villa is available during the high-demand summer period from August 21-28, 2010.  We are talking about one of the high season weeks for Hawaii vacations and a Saturday to Saturday stay (assuming you can actually get yourself to go back home, otherwise it could turn into a Saturday to forever stay).  The only other charges are $7.67 per day for local taxes (regardless of the number of people who stay in the villa).  The auction winner will be added directly to the reservation as the sole reservation owner with Marriott (I can add the names of any roommates initially; but from that time forward, only you can modify those listed on the reservation).  And in case you are interested, the Ko'a Kea hotel right next door is charging $400+ a night for a small hotel room and $1,850 a night for their largest suite which doesn't accommodate as many people!

This luxury villa has it all: full kitchen with appliances and dinnerware, dining area, living room, spacious lanai (balcony), TVs in every living space, DVD players, high-speed internet (in-wall and wireless)...and more!  Plus, they are in the process of fully renovating the villas with new furniture, flat panel TVs, and all new decor in late 2009.  As nice as the villas at this resort may be, you will end up spending much more time on the grounds than in the villa.  Just check out the pictures below which I took on property during one of my stays at the Waiohai; the third shot is a close-up of a monk seal hanging out on the beach at the property.
