Annie Farge and Marshall Thompson starred in the CBS TV series "Angel" in 1960. This show was created by Jess Oppenheimer who was responsible for the iconic comedy "I Love Lucy". Angel was a spin-off with a role reversal - A French wife married to an American, and like its predecessor, showed the comic side of "Angel" (played by Annie Farge) who had just moved to the USA to marry her Johnny (Marshall Thompson) newlyweds adjusting to each other's cultural differences. It received excellent reviews and was shot in front of a live studio audience at the famed Desilu Studios. It only lasted a season primarily due to its time slot. This is a rare photo of Thompson and Ms. Farge dining with a CBS Executive at the famed Stork in New York City. This is from the "Marshall Thompson Private Family Collection" and includes a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the family.
