 Martin D-28-S ! 1988. MINT

  I am offering a mint 1988 Martin D-28-S! Special ordered in 1988 and looks like a brand new guitar! Ordered from Hoffman String Inst. in Raleigh, NC.  Still smells new! Original case and special order card. The guitar sounds very big and bold. The wider fingerboard make a great finger picking guitar.
There were only 3 made in 1988! This is truely a nice collectable guitar.

 Q: You had a question about fret width which you answered as 1 3/4. That is incorrect--it is 1 7/8. Please do not mislead the bidders.

 Q: David, This guitar should have a 1 7/8 wide fingerboard if it is a D-28S. Please verify this. May I ask why a guitar from 1988 is so new and pristine?

A: Hi, I believe the slotted head stock S models only have the wider fretboard. It is approx 1.75. not too wide...should feel good for you. Action is normal, not too high but can go lower if desired. Big rich sound...this is an... Continue reading
