Secret Wars #1-12 (of 12)At the time, this was Marvel's biggest crossover EVER! Imagine all of your favorite heroes, the Avenger, Spider-Man, Hulk, Fantastic Four, Iron Man, The X-MEN, etc fighting together in an otherworldy adventure...that's exactly what Secret Wars was. Probably the most lasting effect of the events of the story was the introduction of Spidey's Black Costume in issue #8 (think VENOM & CARNAGE).
