Presented is a pair of red and green super large ship's explosion proof interior or exterior passageway lights that may also be used as port and starboard running lights. Each is 14“ in height. The lens is 7 1/4" H x 4 1/2" wide and weighs 7 pounds. Their immense size and heavy weight suggests it was used on an a very large ocean going ship such as a VLCC (Very Large Crude Carrier) of about 1000 feet in length.
If you have been wondering, all our navigation and interior ship's lights are the real McCoy. They come off vessels from the breakers yards of the Far East, are polished over there, and shipped to us from 12,000 miles away. This is expensive process so please do not confuse them with reproductions or replicas.
CONDITION: The light is rated in extra fine condition. There are some minor casting imperfections which are normal, and some other minor signs of use, but nothing of consequence or that distracts from it massive polished beauty. All our lights are removed from ships and need to be rewired. A bulb is not included.
