This massive catalogue accompanied a major 1987 exhibition at New York’s Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum entitled Fifty Years of Collecting: Painting Since World War II. It includes an introductory essay by Thomas M. Messer, and 123 superb oversize illustrations of works exhibited (70 in color).
