Mattel African American OREO Barbie Nabisco Rare

This doll was originally made in 1994 by Mattel in a caucasian edition in partnership with Nabisco. Then Mattel decided to do an African American Edition. No one in their R&D department realized that the word "OREO" is a term for a Black person that associates primarily with white people, an African American person who acts like, sympathizes with, or dates and marries whites. The term is derived from an Oreo cookie, which is black on the outside and white on the inside. Someone who calls an African American an "Oreo" is calling him an Uncle Tom.

This is a Beautiful Collectible Super-Rare Barbie Doll

She comes with a cool Oreo Shaped Hand-bag, and a blue Hair Pick/brush. She is wearing a turquoise patent leather zip up vest, a long-sleeve turtleneck with oreo cookie design, and a courderoy long navy blue skirt (floor length) with a Oreo Cookie design on the real pocket. There are lots of interesting OREO facts on the back of the box.
