Suitable for use in schools & library educational dioramas
Perfect for use in educational dioramas. Schools and libraries will find them perfect for displays to encourage student interest in reading about polar exploration, biographies, history and geography.
Very accurate & detailed historical set. Faces are very true to the actual men. The Peary style sledge is the only accurate model ever sold. In fact, there never was anything else like this on the market. Includes an excellent 32 page booklet of text & historical photos. The manufacturer put too much love and value in these sets. He worked with experts to both sculpture the faces of Henson & Peary and to compile the photos for the booklet. It was just too expensive; the set didn't succeed in the commercial market for "action figures." All sets are in new condition.
