Up for auction is a beautiful lidded basket, made by the Mayan indians. It measures 3 1/2 inches tall (including lid, but not handle), and 4 1/4 inches wide and its' widest part. The tag on this basket reads: Maya Handicrafts, made of jipijapa palm fiber gathered and processed by the Mayan women of San Jose Village, Toledo District, Belize. This basket is in mint condition.
