Meade Plössl eyepieces offer premium-quality, multi-coated optics and a 4-element design that provides a wide 52° apparent field of view. For use with all telescopes configured with 1.25" eyepieces. Not only are they a great addition to any eyepiece collection, they are recommended for telescopes supplied with Super Plössl eyepieces as standard equipment. These Plössl eyepieces and Meade Super Plössl eyepieces virtually all share the same parfocal design. The advantage being another focal length eyepiece can be dropped into the eyepiece-holder and the image being viewed remains sharp without the need for gross refocusing. This Meade Plössl eyepiece is identical to the Meade 4000 series eyepiece with the only exception being the text around the barrel.

Meade Plössls optimize the performance of any telescope type, whether f/10 Schmidt-Cassegrain, f/16 refractor, or f/4 reflector!
