• This software is written to run under Microsoft Access. It is designed to allow you to easily track medical claims for patients. The claims are to be billed to insurance companies, employers or to third party carriers on behalf of your practice's patients. The system tracks patient data and procedures, and it includes the following set of indexed files or tables:
•  Patient Master file indexed by patient ID and Patient Name,
• Claims Detail file or table indexed by patient ID, date of service and procedure codes,
• Procedure or Services Code file  or table arranged by procedure codes (CPT, HCPCS), code description and associated fee (from data on superbill),
• Diagnosis file (from your superbill data) for entering diagnosis codes and is arranged by diagnosis code and description,
• Insurance company or insurance carrier file or table,
• Employer file table which contains patient's employer data and is arranged by employer and insurance carrier name, group plan 
• Encounter or Patient Visit table which allows the service provider to track patient's visit to the practice with the proper diagnosis for the encounter. All these files are linked or related to the patient master data and are used to feed data to the patient master file. Some of the tables need to be filled by the user (according to the kinds of practice using their superbill form) and updated periodically based on the service provider kinds of practice. This software can also be used to track Worker's Comp cases as well. Reports can be created on the fly using MS Access reporting tools. Labels can be printed from the Employee table when necessary. All the data and information in the system can be updated at will whenever necessary. Each encounter or visit to the provider's office can be documented. Information can be copied to Excel Spreadsheet, MS Word or even to a Power Presentation for further analysis. The system is as table-driven as possible in order to avoid constant system maintenance and hard coded data.
• The software allows you to track charges and transactions that have been billed to the patient's insurance company based on the AMA's CPT codes, HCPCS, ICD-9 codes, NDCs (Drug codes) and ADA Dental codes. Each procedure is associated with a fee based on the fee schedule in use by the practice. The user is able to add or update the procedure file with new entries based on the practice. Each procedure is associated with a fee and a modifier if necessary. The user can also fill out or update the diagnosis file based on their practice and the kinds of services rendered. Each diagnosis is associated with a code and a description. Once captured the data can be easily copied or populated to the appropriate insurance forms such as the CMS-1500 or HCFA, the Medicine and Prescription Drugs claim forms and the ADA Dental claim forms using other third party software or in-house productivity software.
• The files are indexed by Patient Name, Procedure Codes, Date of  Service, Diagnosis code by patient, Employer name, Insurance Company or Carrier.  It is easy to use and install and include the installation instructions with help guide. It allows you to print reports. Using MS Access you can create additional reports. It is table driven and the major tables are indexed taking advanage of Access capabilities.  It is an open system and can be customized easily. No programming experience is needed.
