KEY STRENGTHS:
ECW-1382A conductivity tester has the same functionality as that of our ECW-1383A except that it measures and display in results MicroSiemens per centimeter (µS/cm). The meter's electrode and body connection are tightly and securely sealed to ensure the 100% accuracy of the readings or measurements, just immerse the meter half past the tip of the sensor or up to the middle of the body from the sensor tip. Its Waterproof capability can withstand wet environment. It features Built-in sensor for Automatic Temperature Compensation that automatically compensates from 0-50°C, measures from 0~1999µS/cm, and factory calibrated on power up and do not require calibration when first used and you can use it right away, as a result, measurement operation are remarkably shortened. It also features 1-point calibration (for periodic standard calibration) and protected LCD display for easy viewing as well as its single-push On/Off button. All readings are automatically temperature compensated, temperature sensor is positioned directly alongside the conductivity sensor to match the sensors' thermal characteristic. The conductivity of a solution is highly temperature dependent, therefore it is important to use a temperature compensated instrument. ECW-1382A is housed in a durable case that provides excellent protection against harsh industrial environments. This meter is pocket-sized & ideal for quick field checks of water-based solutions, the ECW-1382A conductivity meter combines measuring sensor and meter into a compact package. It comes with batteries and complete with operation’s manual, protective cap and mini-screw driver for periodic maintenance calibration.

Operating Information:

• Remove the protective cap
• Turn the meter ON by pressing the "ON" button key
• Immerse the electrode in the solution to be tested
• Stir gently and wait for the reading to stabilize
• Once done testing, turn the meter OFF by pressing the "OFF" button key
• Rinse the electrode with distilled water to minimize contamination
• Replace the protective cap after use
  
  NOTE: In the presence of certain radio transmitters, this product
  may produce erroneous readings. If this occurs then measurements
  should be repeated at another location.

  Maintenance:
  It is recommended to check the meter every three months for accuracy.
  * Rinse the electrode with clean water and wipe it dry. Immerse the
  * electrode in calibration solution. Stir gently and wait for the reading
  * to stabilize.
  * Adjust the reading to 1410-1413µS/cm (not included) calibration
  * solutions for µS/cm at 25°C by tunning the trimmer (located at the
  * back of meter) with a mini-screw driver
  * Read the measurement on the display. Reading result should be
  * multiplied by a factor for µS/cm
  * If the meter cannot be switch on or display fades, replace the
  * batteries by pulling out the battery case and replace accordingly.
  * Pay particualr attention to the polarity of battery.
  * If pin electrode is dirty, rinse it in alcohol for a minute. Do not
  * touch or scratch the pin electrode.
