Medieval Hammered Iron Celtic Scypter Axe
- Look at this great
find. It is very old, dating from the early Middle Ages at the least,
but it could be from the Iron Age (1st Millennium AD)
- It is made out of one piece of cast, then hand hammered wrought iron
- It
was most likely purported for rituals, rather than everyday use, as it
is obviously too small and unhandy for any everyday job
- Celtic in origin
- We will update the listing with more information soon, please wait for our revision before bidding!
- Measurements: Approx. 4.25" x 1.25"
- Condition: VG overall, see photos. The oxidation is
relatively even and on the surface of the specimen, without being
spread though the body
